Photoroom is hiring a Senior Product Designer who will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design journey across mobile, web, and API-based products. The role will include UX research, UI execution, systems design, prototyping, usability testing, and cross-functional team collaboration. The position holds significant autonomy and is central to user experience development, contributing directly to products used by millions globally. Based remotely within Europe but with regular company meetups in Paris, this is a high-impact opportunity that blends creativity, innovation, and speed. • You have a strong eye for typography, color, and spatial design and maintain an active, high-quality portfolio. • You are action-oriented and pragmatic, capable of making high-impact design decisions quickly without compromising on consistency or user experience. • Your thinking is system-based, not asset-limited, and you have prior experience working with or building design systems. • You communicate your design choices fluently and are comfortable interacting with different stakeholders and departments. • You have experience designing for multiple platforms such as mobile apps and responsive web applications. • You are technically proficient in tools like Figma and well-versed in complementary graphics and animation tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, or After Effects.
• Own and execute the full design lifecycle from UX research to UI visuals, prototyping, and QA delivery. • Contribute to the development and sustainability of Photoroom's cross-platform design system. • Translate ideas into effective, scalable, and user-friendly design solutions across web, mobile, and API interfaces. • Collaborate closely with engineers and other departments like Growth, Community, Brand, and Machine Learning to ensure product cohesion. • Prioritize speed and product impact without over-indexing on unnecessary polish or perfection. • Use cutting-edge AI and creative tools to expedite workflows and improve your capability as a designer.
