Selina Finance is looking for a versatile, detail-oriented and product-focused Product Designer who is excited to shape the user experience of a new category in home financing. The position offers significant ownership across various domains including UX flow, design systems, marketing visuals, and more. The candidate will be the second Product Designer on a small and agile team, giving them the opportunity to hugely influence and define Selina’s design approach.

👤    Who you are

• You have experience designing complex, multi-step user workflows and can demonstrate this in your portfolio. • You’ve led design projects from initial problem definition to final delivery, showcasing strong execution across both UX and UI. • You’re comfortable using Figma, including contributions to component libraries and design systems. • You can work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment and navigate ambiguity with confidence. • You’re self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing your workload independently without constant oversight. • You’re curious and always seeking to push your skills, learn new technologies, and improve your craft. • You can clearly communicate design decisions to cross-functional teams including Product, Compliance, Marketing, and Engineering.

📑    What the job involves

• Take full design ownership of tools such as the broker portal, colleague internal tooling, and customer packaging interfaces. • Contribute to and evolve Selina’s design system, creating new components and maintaining detailed documentation. • Drive UX improvements on customer-facing products with measurable outcomes such as increased application completion. • Create marketing assets, including landing pages and email flows, that support business growth strategies. • Conduct and participate in user research and prototype testing to inform product decisions. • Collaborate closely with PMs, Engineers, Compliance, Ops, and Marketing teams to build cohesive products. • Engage in product strategy discussions and design critiques to provide insightful feedback and raise the design standard. • Occasionally work on brand expression, from visual campaigns to tone-of-voice refinement.
