UX Service Designer on the Experience Design team at Standard Chartered Bank, based in London on a fixed-term contract.
• You bring 3-5 years of relevant experience in usability testing and/or ethnographic research within digital projects. • You demonstrate expertise in UX or service design, with capabilities ranging from user research to prototyping and accessibility audits. • You excel in applying human-centered design thinking methods to improve user journeys and interface experiences. • You are well-versed in working autonomously within large, international teams and have strong organizational and time-management skills. • You possess strong communication abilities and are culturally aware, making you a collaborative and empathetic team player.
• Collaborate across the Experience team and program teams to execute research initiatives aligned with business needs. • Use diverse user research methodologies to uncover and define employee experiences and organizational behaviors. • Utilize human-centered design thinking to design inclusive and seamless employee journeys and experiences. • Convert research insights into usable outputs such as personas and user journeys optimized across devices and interfaces. • Monitor user pain points within core features and propose, prototype, and test innovative experience improvements. • Consistently communicate design strategies, processes, and user insights to cross-functional stakeholders. • Provide thought leadership in incorporating a user-centered mindset into current and future UX decisions. • Serve as an ambassador for experience design across the organization, promoting a customer-first approach. • Contribute to refining and scaling the global design process framework within the organization. • Provide decipherable insights for stakeholders to guide decision-making and solution development.
