Lead Product Designer at Covalent, responsible for overseeing and shaping the entire design function, from UX/UI strategy to prototyping AI-powered features.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in designing digital products, particularly in UX/UI for SaaS or data-intensive applications. • You bring fluency with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. • You’re deeply experienced in creating user-first interfaces and working cross-functionally with engineering and product teams. • You excel in user research — from interviews to usability testing — and know how to derive actionable insights from user feedback. • You think in systems and have experience building scalable design libraries, components, and consistent design languages. • You are comfortable with ambiguity and can navigate between big-picture strategy and hands-on tactical execution. • You have a technical mindset and understand how to collaborate with developers within technical and operational constraints. • You’re familiar with design thinking methodologies and customer discovery best practices. • You possess strong communication skills and can clearly articulate design decisions and advocate for the user. • You can align design goals with product and company strategy, demonstrating leadership in shaping product vision. • Bonus if you’ve worked on AI/LLM-powered experiences or within emerging technologies. • You must be a “US Person” as defined under Export Control regulations, which includes US Citizens or lawful permanent residents.
