Laka is hiring a Backend Engineer to contribute to the development of its microservices platform, REST APIs, and internal applications. The role will involve working with modern technologies such as Node.js, GoLang, and SQL databases, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall customer experience. As a key part of Laka's engineering team, you will work remotely with occasional travel to offices.
• You have commercial experience with backend development, particularly in Node.js and GoLang. • You have experience working with modern frontend frameworks like React, Next.js, and Redux. • You are comfortable working with REST APIs and GraphQL. • You understand SQL and are familiar with databases. • You are experienced with unit testing and end-to-end testing, using tools like Jest and Cypress. • You have strong communication skills and excel in collaboration and teamwork. • You thrive in a remote-first environment and are eager to learn and adapt.
